In the Czech Republic, notification of dietary supplements before placing them on the market is mandatory. Foreign entities operating in the Czech Republic (warehouse, branch, etc.) are also required to register as an FBO (entity responsible for the product). Thanks to the principle of mutual recognition of notifications within the EU, only products entering the Czech market for the first time need to be notified.
